67/366: a twist on nature

A pencil pine that was looking a little straggly managed to obtain a new lease on life, as I made it into a small arch. Although not the most successful project I have ever attempted, it provides a nice surround, or frame, for my little Grecian (Roman?) statue whom I named Appollonia.

In an area that doesn’t get a lot of sun or water, as the conifers take most of that, this provides a solution for an otherwise empty space.
