Cats can be fickle creatures. Take Zorro for example: he adores me generally, but on our return from holiday he walked away disdainfully, and painfully for me. Then, a little later, when he decided he had punished me (and himself) enough, he was all over me like a rash.
His initial reaction had really meant, “Mummy, you were so mean to leave me; I missed you so much, and I’m really glad you’re back.”
Zorro favours me, while Shadow favours his Dad, which is a good reason for having two cats. This photo shows that Zorro missed his daddy too. He was even dribbling a little with happiness.
